A 12 year-old girl was injured after being hit by a car in north Dorset.
Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Gillingham are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
At around 3pm on Thursday October 28 a collision occurred on Newbury involving a red Toyota Yaris and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian – a 12-year-old girl – sustained a serious leg injury and was taken to Yeovil District Hospital for treatment.
Police Constable Kier Dagnall, of North Dorset police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
“I would also urge any motorists who were travelling in the area around the relevant time to check any dashcam footage for anything that might assist our investigation.”
