A MAN has been arrested after an item of jewellery was stolen from a property in North Dorset – with police releasing an image of the item in an attempt to find it.
A necklace with a ragdoll pendant was reportedly stolen from an address in the Shaftesbury area on Wednesday, September 22.
A local man aged in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and released under investigation as enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Constable Neil Hooker, of Weymouth CID, said: “As part of our ongoing investigation I am issuing an image of the item of jewellery that was reportedly stolen and would appeal to anyone who has come across a similar piece being offered for sale in unusual circumstances locally to please come forward.”
