MILITARY veterans are being offered free travel across the conurbation this week as part of Remembrance Day.
Yellow Buses and morebus are allowing armed forces personnel to travel for free on Thursday November 11 and Sunday November 14.
To travel, veterans will need to show the driver their military ID card or wear their uniform, medals or veteran badge.

The offer also includes any younger cadets travelling in uniform to or from remembrance services.
Morebuses are proudly showing their support for the Royal British Legion by displaying poppies on their fleet of buses this November.
Managing director Andrew Wickham said: “People in this area are rightfully proud of our country’s military - as is the team here at Morebus.
“As part of this community, we are keen to show our support for the Armed Forces.
“The work our troops do in unimaginably hostile war zones is incredibly humbling. And we hope, by proudly displaying our poppies and raising awareness for this worthwhile cause, we’re backing our words with actions.
“We will be helping to raise funds at our travel shop, throughout November.''
Drivers from both bus companies will be pulling over, if it is safe to do so, at 11am on both days as a mark of respect to observe the two minutes’ silence.
