BCP Council have revealed that three Remembrance Sunday parades will go ahead as usual this weekend.
As many services are due to be held across the county on Sunday, many veterans, serving military personnel and various Dorset scout troops will also take part in processions on November 14.
Here are some details of the parades and services to be held in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch on Sunday.

Bournemouth
The town’s annual service of remembrance and parade will take place at the War Memorial in the Central Gardens.
The commemoration will be attended by the Mayor of Bournemouth Councillor David Kelsey, the Bournemouth Charter Trustees and civic dignitaries.
The parade, which will set off at 10.40am, will take place through the gardens to the War Memorial as opposed to through the town as per previous years.
It will be led by The Salvation Army Band who will play the bugle alongside the Field Gun Display Team to mark the start and end of the two-minute silence.
The service will commence at Bournemouth Tennis Club at 10.55am and will be led by Reverend Dr Ian Terry, with music provided by the Salvation Army Boscombe Band and the Bournemouth Combined Cadet Force Band.
Braidley Road, Bourne Avenue and Avenue Road will be closed to vehicle access from 9am until 1pm.
Poole
The Remembrance Sunday service and parade will take place at the War Memorial in Poole Park.
The Poole Sea Cadets Marching Band will lead the parade, which will set off from the cricket pavilion at 10.25am and play the bugle alongside the Poole Field Gun Display Team to mark the start and end of the two-minute silence.
The service will commence at 10.50am and will be led by Reverend Reg Baldock, with music provided by the Poole Borough Band.
Poole Park will be closed from 7.30am until 1pm to vehicle access for the parade and service.
Christchurch
The traditional Remembrance Service in Christchurch will begin at Purewell Cross War Memorial at 9.15am followed by a procession led the Royal British Legion, armed forces units and civic organisations from the Royal British Legion.
A wreath laying ceremony will take place at the Garden of Remembrance at the Priory Church at 10.15am, prior to the commencement of the main Remembrance Service at 10.50am which will include a two-minute silence.
Members of the public who wish to join the Remembrance Services are encouraged to wear face coverings.
Chairman of BCP Council Cllr Nigel Hedges said: “We are pleased to announce that traditional events of commemoration will be taking place at each war memorial in all three of our towns in the BCP Council area on Sunday November 14.
“Residents will have the opportunity to come together to remember the service and sacrifice of the armed forces and emergency services, from Britain and the Commonwealth, that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life.’’
