One year after his death, the Daily Echo remembers when entertainment legend Des O'Connor visited Bournemouth.
The presenter of Des O'Connor Tonight was at Borders Bookshop on October 26, 2001, to sign copies of his book Bananas Can't Fly.
Here he met some of his fans including Carolyn Cunningham from Charminster and Charlie Chaplin impersonator Gary Ray.
