REPORTS of crime across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole remained lower than previous months in September.
According to the latest figures from police.uk there were a total of 3,839 crimes reported across the conurbation in September - in August there were 3,825 reports.
September's crime rate was extremely similar to that of August which had the lowest number of reported crime compared to the previous three months.
Reports of anti-social behaviour within the conurbation continued to drop significantly in September to 1,089 - in August there were 1,132 incidents of anti-social behaviour reported to the police.

The second most reported crime was violence and sexual offences with 1,143 - up from 1,112 in August.
Across the conurbation the third highest crime was criminal damage and arson which received 329 reports.
Vehicle crime (211), other theft (282) and public order (249) offences all received similar rates of reports throughout July in the BCP council area.
The lowest reported crimes were theft from a person (13), possession of weapons (21) and other crime (16).

Bournemouth saw a total of 2,389 reports, Christchurch received 356 and Poole had 1,094 crimes reported in September 2021.
