AS THE Covid vaccination programme continues across Dorset with more people taking up boosters, government figures show that in some areas of the county more than a third of residents are not double jabbed.
Eight local areas in Bournemouth have seen less than 66.6 per cent of residents aged over 12 receive two doses of a Covid vaccine as of November 20.
While the majority of 12 to 15 year olds are currently only being offered one jab, the government's Covid data dashboard provides data on two dose uptake with this age group included.
Boscombe West, East Cliff, Springbourne & Queen's Park, Central Bournemouth, Charminster, Boscombe East, West Cliff and Winton have the lowest proportion of residents double jabbed across Dorset.
Meanwhile, seven areas in the county have 85 per cent or more of those aged 12 or over double jabbed.
The BCP Council area as a whole has 73.3 per cent double jabbed, while the Dorset Council area stands at 82.1 per cent.
Only Bristol and Exeter have has a lower figure than BCP Council in the south west region of England.
Below are the areas of Dorset with the highest and lowest proportion of residents double jabbed.
