THE Pavillion Theatre is home to a brand new outdoor drinking and dining festive experience - ideal for a cold winter’s night.
We visited the brand new snow dome igloos on the terrace of the theatre last night, Monday November 22.
A festive delight from start to finish, the igloos are entranced through the Lower Gardens where you can wander through more than 100 illuminations as part of Christmas Tree Wonderland.
The steps up to the igloos are home to a giant Santa Claus and quickly get you in the mood to experience an arctic treasure.
Friendly staff are on hand to greet you and walk you to your heated snow dome, fit with cushions and blankets and Christmas music - which got us all feeling very festive indeed.
We were swiftly offered our pre-paid drinks which included one drink per-person (six people per booth) and a choice of Kozel lager, a bottle of prosecco or mulled wine, mulled cider or soft drinks.
The enthusiastic staff were quick to settle us in and couldn’t be more welcoming - ensuring we were well watered and fed throughout our stay.
Included in the booking are two pizzas per dome - we had two domes so enjoyed four pizzas including a margarita, shredded chicken, pepperoni and vegetarian pizzas.
The handmade El Murrino pizzas were quick to arrive and jam-packed with toppings and lots of cheese - talk about a cheese-pull.
Overall, the experience was wonderful and brought the festive spirit out in all of us and is well worth a visit.
