THE Cranborne Practice has announced it will be offering Covid-19 booster vaccines to its patients.
A spokesperson for the general practitioners said: “There is a high demand for boosters as the number of eligible people increases and the interval between second and booster doses is reduced.
“We are therefore delighted that the Crane Valley Primary Care Network (PCN) has been approved to open a GP led COVID vaccination site for patients registered with The Barcellos Family Practice, The Cranborne Practice, Verwood Surgery and West Moors Village Surgery.”

Booster doses will be available at the new site from the week commencing January 3, 2022.
Vaccines will be administered during pre-booked in-person appointments, there will be no drive-through clinics due to a 15-minute mandatory monitoring window after each vaccination.
Colleagues at the GP practice are finalising arrangements for how and when patients will be contacted with the offer of an appointment.
In the meantime, available appointments continue to be added to the national booking system, and the GP advises people who do not wish to wait to keep checking for new appointment slots on its website.
