IF YOU love Christmas then you have to pay a visit to the diner that’s opened in place of the old Wimpy’s in Poole.
The Christmas Diner pop-up restaurant in Kingland Crescent was opened by mother and son duo Karyn and Ben Kilcoyne.
Hoping to spread a bit of festive cheer, the pair set about transforming the old Wimpy restaurant in the two weeks before opening and it is now a Christmas haven.
With festive hanging garlands, a post box for letters to Santa and a number of Christmas trees - the diner is a real festive wonderland.

Mum-of-four Karyn said: “Everyone that comes in is really positive because it’s Christmassy and everyone’s really happy.
“It’s really laid back and people can come in and expect good food and to relax and enjoy themselves.
“At the weekend we do alcohol as well - on Saturday’s you can come in and see Santa, we’ve got live music as well every Saturday until Christmas.
Karyn and Ben also own a mobile catering company which travels the south coast serving street food at festivals and events in the summer.
The diner serves a range of street food ‘with a Christmas twist’ including the mega ‘Santa burger’ filled with cheese, stuffing, caramelised carrots, fried potato skins, pigs in blankets and chilli jam.
Also on the menu is ‘the naughty burger’ with cranberry, brie, rocket and house mayo - all of their burgers are served with rosemary fries and winter slaw.
They have festive crepes, bubble waffles, mega hot chocolates and also cater to all diets.
The festive diner has opened in the place of Wimpy, memories of which customers delight in sharing with Karyn.
She said: "It's brilliant, obviously this is where the old Wimpy was and I can remember it being here.
"People come in and tell me stories about when they came here when it was Wimpy and I think they're happy to see a diner back in its place."
Looking ahead to the future the pair haven't ruled out opening a non-festive burger bar at Kingsland all-year-round, so watch this space.
The Christmas Diner is open daily from 11am to 9pm until December 24.
