TWO people have been handed a fine of more than £1,000 over an indoor gathering which broke coronavirus lockdown rules.
Bethany Anderson, 24 and of Cardigan Road, Bournemouth, was said to have taken part in a gathering of two or more people at a flat in Belaton House in Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, on January 23.
Ademola Prince, 22 and of Kimble Drive Bedford, was also accused of the offence at the same flat on the same day.
The cases against the two defendants were proved at Weymouth Magistrates' Court in non-public single justice procedure hearings on December 1.
Anderson and Prince, who were not present in the court room, were fined £1,110 and ordered to pay a £110 surcharge and £90 costs each.
