A ROAD in Ferndown is closed overnight for three days from this evening.
Dorset Council has advised motorists that the A348 Ringwood Road will be shut from 8pm on Tuesday, December 14.
The closure from south of Dunedin Drive to north of the entrance to Longham Business Park will run until 5am nightly until the morning of Friday, December 17.
The junctions in Ringwood Road with Casterbridge Road and Angel Lane will also be closed.
The local authority said the road block is necessary to carry out resurfacing work and to allow the installation of new markings.
The closures are part of the ongoing Transforming Cities Fund (TCF) improvement works, currently underway in Ringwood Road.
During the night-time closures a diversion will be in place from the Longham Roundabouts, along Ham Lane, Canford Bottom Roundabout, Wimborne Road, Trickets Cross roundabout and back along Ringwood Roa
