A FAMILY newsagent and store has been sold to the family of a previous owner.
Jenkins Newsagent and Convenience Store in Swanage has been sold to Richard Hibbs, through Goadsby Commercial.
In the 1970s the popular store was known as H.B.Hibbs - the original Mr Hibbs is the grandfather and great-grandfather to the new owners.
The long established business has been owned and operated by the same family for over 11 years and the busy shop enjoys a loyal following in the local community.
In addition to the shop, the freehold sale included a large self-contained four bedroom maisonette above.

The maisonette comprises four double bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchen and a small outside decking area to the rear.
Mark Nurse from Goadsby Commercial said: “We were pleased to have sold this busy store and maisonette.
“The business was formerly known as H.B. Hibbs in the 1970’s and the buyers are in fact the grandson and great grandson of the former owner Mr Hibbs.
“It is rare that such a substantial business property comes to the market and I am in no doubt that the new owners will continue and improve upon the success of this business”.
