FLORAL tributes have been left at the scene of a fatal hit and run crash in Poole.
Messages of condolence have also been left with the flowers at the side of Canford Way where a woman, aged in her 20s from Poole, was killed on Sunday evening.
Emergency services were called to the A3049 between the Mannings Heath and Alderney roundabouts at 9.46pm on December 12, following a report of a collision involving a black Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian.
Road closures were put in place overnight and throughout Monday morning as police carried out an investigation of the scene.
It was reported that the occupants of the vehicle left the area.
On Monday, Dorset Police said a 17-year-old boy, an 18-year-old woman, an 18-year-old man, two 19-year-old men and two men aged 20 – all from Poole – had all been arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
The Daily Echo contacted the force for an update on the investigation yesterday and is awaiting further details.
