THE Salvation Army in Boscombe has made the hard decision to cancel its carols and Christmas Eve service amid rising Covid cases.
Following consulation with the corps leadership, Boscombe Salvation Army has decided to cancel its upcoming services "with deep disappointment".
Both the community carol service, due to be held at 6pm on Sunday, December 19 and the Christmas Eve service, due to be held at 11.15pm on December 24, have been cancelled.
A spokesperson for Boscombe Salvation Army said: "We acknowledge people will be disappointed but we have a duty of care and this decision was not taken lightly. Please share with those you know who don’t use Facebook.
