BOURNEMOUTH has become famous for its wonderful festive offering, including the light trail through the town centre and the annual Christmas market. But what do visitors say about it?

The Christmas market opened on November 19 and will continue trading daily until January 2.

This year saw the return of the Alpine Lodge bar, 35 chalet market stalls, the Christmas Tree Wonderland in Bournemouth's Lower Gardens and the SKATE ice rink.

“Thank you for all the hard work that went into making this such a beautiful event.”

The joyful sentiment celebrating the diverse offering in Bournemouth was echoed by many reviewers on Facebook. One said: “Lots of awesome food, clothing and   household items. And the lights in Bournemouth Gardens were excellent.”

However, not all the festive fun can be had in the town square, as one reviewer said: “Mainly food stalls outside and the ice rink for the kids.

“Don't miss the pop up Christmas Market on the first floor of Bobby's with many, many stalls with beautiful gifts.”

With a range of food offerings and retail outlets, the festive market had lots to offer visitors from the instagrammable Yorkshire pudding wraps to tasty bratwursts and hand-poured candles to viking drinking horns.
