EVERY adult in Dorset is being urged to take up the offer of a Covid-19 booster jab if they have not done so yet.
Residents are invited to receive their first, second or booster jab at a number of walk-in sites this bank holiday Monday, January 3.
On Friday the Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group announced that 82 per cent of eligible people living in Dorset had received their booster.

This comes as one area in Dorset saw a 75 per cent increase in coronavirus cases in a week, according to the latest figures.
Data on the government website shows that Merley saw 43 new infections in the seven days to December 28.
The total number of people testing positive rose to 100 in total, giving a rate of 1,629.7 per 100,000 people.
The previous week in Merley, there were 57 cases with a rate of 928.9.
