A MOTHER has spoken of her shock over her son's death after his body was found at his own home in Christchurch.
Jayne Newey, 64, told of her concerns for her son's welfare in recent years.
"I just don't believe it," said Miss Newey, a care assistant from Christchurch.
"It doesn't seem real. It doesn't seem fair. He didn't deserve it if you ask me."
Mr Reeve was a part-time musician who produced his own dub reggae music. He had also worked in customer services at the Tesco store in New Milton.
He lived alone at the property in Heath Road, Walkford, where his body was found on January 4.
Miss Newey said her son moved to Christchurch from Buckinghamshire over 10 years ago.
A 15-year-old girl from Christchurch who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on police bail pending further investigation.
