GILLINGHAM people have got together to crack down on anti-social behaviour.
Partners and Communities Together has held its first public meeting and drawn up a hit list of problems.
Residents flocked to Gillingham Primary School for the PACT initiative, which brings locals together with police, local authorities, and safety partners.
Schools, housing associations, and neighbourhood watch groups, joined fire fighters, citizens' advice officers, and groups for the elderly to hammer out priorities for the crackdown.
Dangerous driving in Chantry Fields car park is the key priority.
Vandalism and yobbish behaviour in the Lodbourne area is next on the list.
The PACT group also set its sights on on under-age drinking near the Co-Op in Lodbourne Green.
"It's an environmental issue as much as anything. The area is a magnet for litter," said PC Nutt.
He added that while shop staff kept their forecourt tidy, the failure of absentee landlords of nearby flats to ensure the maintenance of black bag waste was an issue.
He added litter bins might be another issue PACT could investigate.
The PACT panel will act on the priorities highlighted by angry residents.
A public meeting will be held on March 12 to report on progress made in tackling the targets.
