THE long-awaited ILLUMINATE event at the Blue Pool in Purbeck is officially open to the public.
A magical starry trail through the woodland and around the lit-up lake in Wareham is taking place across January and February.
The Blue Pool has teamed up with OT Event Technicians to create the spectacular nighttime event.
Tickets are on sale now and cost between £5 and £10 - parking is free onsite for all tickets holders.
Visitors can enjoy 1km of professionally staged illuminations, lighting the meandering woodland trails.
Guests are able to glimpse the beautiful deep waters of the pool and the ancient woodland whilst stopping at carefully selected positions along the way to relax and enjoy this unique setting.
The Art Deco licensed Tearooms provide refreshments throughout the evening as well as fire pits on the terrace for toasting marshmallows.
