Store manager Sam Ketchley said: ’We are thrilled to be expanding our Iceland portfolio of stores even further and giving shoppers in Christchurch the chance to shop quality and brilliant value deals, alongside a fantastic range of frozen, fresh and chilled foods.”
The 6,509 square foot store will create 25 new jobs within the local community.
The Christchurch store will be open between 8am and 7pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
Customers will find a number of exclusive brands only available at Iceland in the store including Slimming World, Chiquito, Barratt, Del Monte, TGI Fridays, and Harry Ramsden’s.
Iceland has multiple new products to try including its latest collaboration with Mexican restaurant brand, Chiquito, as well as a number of additions to its Slimming World range.
The supermarket also offers Bonus Card pricing, giving shoppers the chance to access a number of exclusive offers. The app is available to download now from the app store so customers will be able to take advantage of the discounts on opening day.
Since its launch in 1970, Iceland now has over 960 stores across the UK.
