A DORSET-based animal rescue centre is hoping to find homes for dogs and rabbits in its care this week.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue needs to rehome seven dogs and rabbits.

Can you give any of the animals below a loving home?

Bournemouth Echo:

Coral is an eight-month-old Lurcher. She is very playful and friendly, but she can be very nervous at first and it will take a few meetings for her to feel completely comfortable with her new family. When she arrived at the centre, she had very sore skin but this is now improving every day. She could live with other dogs and older children, but she cannot live with cats.

Bournemouth Echo:

Romeo is a Greyhound who is almost four-years-old. He can be a little shy at first, but this soon subsides and he really enjoys being pampered and having cuddles. He would be happy living with slightly older children and a fellow Sighthound, but he is looking for a home without cats and small furries. He enjoys his treats and he’s very gentle when he takes them from you.

Bournemouth Echo:

Scooby is a two-year-old Greyhound. He is a lovely boy who really enjoys cuddles with his human companions. He is always happy and has lots of love to give. He walks very nicely on the lead, and he really enjoys playing with toys. He would be happy living with children aged 5+ and another Sighthound, but he would prefer a home without cats and small furries.

Bournemouth Echo:

Lucy is five-years-old and she is looking for a forever home with her best friend, Fin. She’s a loving girl who dotes on Fin and her human carers. They are both very friendly and sweet and enjoy having a cuddle. They would love to find their new home soon, as they are the loveliest pair of rabbits and would bring a lot of happiness to their new family.

Bournemouth Echo:

Sushi is a three-year-old Lop. She loves being outside, so it’s a priority for her to have a safe place to binky, sunbathe and hop around in. She’s not keen on other rabbits and prefers people, so she will need to be the only pet in the household. She is looking for an indoor home, so she can come inside and be in the company of people.

Bournemouth Echo:

Florence is a beautiful, 2-year-old Lop with a soft personality. She is such a happy girl, who is good at being handled and enjoys being stroked. She is looking for a vaccinated and neutered, male rabbit companion of a similar age. The staff at the Church Knowle Centre are currently pairing her with another rescue rabbit called Tiger.
