FIRE crews rushed to a blaze which had spread to a tree and reached nine metres in height.
Crews from Wimborne were called at 12.02 on Monday, January 31 to Merley Lane in Wimborne.
A spokesperson for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews from Wimborne were sent to a fire that had spread from a bonfire to a tall pine tree nearby.
“The fire reached about nine metres and was extinguished using high pressure lances.”
