MORE keys were found in a Dorset town, as one resident suggested it might be a TikTok trend.
The source of the mysterious keys being left around Verwood remains unknown, however more were found on Tuesday.
One key was left by the village hall labelled "Morrisons petrol station chip fat oil fuel cap".
The Hub reception had been handed three keys. One was labelled "secret chocolate supply - Hub reception, one said "library key back door" and the third said "church warden - sex toys & puppets".
Despite this residents were still in the dark as to where they keys were coming from.
One person, who asked to remain anonymous, said: “A friend picked one up from the bus stop and the public loos.
“Some have been quite rude and actually could scare people, they might think they’re being targeted.
“I have heard it’s to do with TikTok but I’ve not seen anything. Apparently one was for a coffin at St Stephen’s Castle and one was for a sex dungeon.”
As reported, they keys have been dotted around the town, although they don’t open any of the businesses.
The majority of residents had found it amusing, and thought it was someone having a joke with the town.
Councillor Simon Gibson, ward councillor for Verwood, said: “The keys do seem to have caught the public imagination.
“I am sure we will find out more about it in due course but it seems like a light hearted bit of fun. Like everyone, I will keep an eye out for them when I am out and about.”
