A man has died after a medical incident in Poole.
Dorset Police received a report at 1.04pm on Thursday of a man in need of medical assistance on the A35 Bournemouth Road at Ashley Cross in Poole.
Officers attended to assist the ambulance service and road closures were put in place.
The air ambulance was also called and landed at Poole Park.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Very sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to identify him and inform his next of kin. The death is not being treated as suspicious."
The road closures were lifted shortly after 2pm.
