A MAN was followed and filmed by two people in a car before being stabbed by the passenger.
Police are appealing for witnesses into the incident which occurred in Bournemouth.
At around 12.30am on Friday, February 4, the victim, a man aged in his 30s, was walking along Christchurch Road when a car slowed and pulled up alongside him.
The male passenger appeared to be filming the victim and the two men were involved in an altercation.
The victim walked off towards Hamilton Road but the car continued to follow him. When they were in Hamilton Road, a man exited the vehicle and was involved in a fight with the victim, during which he sustained a puncture wound to the right side of his body.
Police Constable Kate Brew, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are carrying out a number of detailed enquiries into this incident, including a review of available CCTV footage in the area.
“I am appealing to anyone who witnessed an altercation in either Christchurch Road or Hamilton Road around the time of this incident, or has any information that might assist our investigation, to please contact us.
“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the incident who has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check their footage for anything of relevance.”
