THE popular Wimborne Folk Festival is set to return after a two-year absence due to Covid.
Organisers confirmed its line-up for the festival, due to take place between June 10 and June 12.
A spokesperson for the festival said: “We are delighted to announce that for the Wimborne Minster Folk Festival from June 10 to 12, our headliners will be the wonderful Welsh folk group CALAN.
“Described by Mike Harding of BBC Radio 2 as ‘smashing’, these musicians have it all.
"They will be performing in one of the ticketed concerts on June 12. Individual tickets are available but the best way to see them and all the other concerts featuring such fabulous acts as Merry Hell, Megson, Charlie Dore, Reg Meuross and Fly Yeti Fly is to buy a weekend ticket, available from the website, www.wimbornefolk.co.uk.
“It is shaping up to be a brilliant weekend.”
