AN opening date has been revealed for the launch of a new BrewDog site in Bournemouth town centre.
The company will be holding an official launch event at 12pm on Friday, February 25 at Unit LG1 in the BH2 complex.
In an announcement on their website, BrewDog said: "We're opening the doors to our newest bar on Friday February 25.
"Showcasing an incredible range of beer from us and other brewers from across the UK and beyond, we’ll be holding our official launch event at 12pm on 25th February, where the first 50 people through the doors will be in with a chance of winning a year of free beer."
The multinational company, which is based in Ellon, has dozens of bars in the UK, including one in Southampton, as well as 20 more overseas.
The new site will be the first to open in Dorset.
A spokesperson from Brewdog, said: "We're hitting up Bournemouth to bring you some coastal brews just minutes from the sea.
"We'll be pouring tonnes of incredible beer from us and our favourite guest breweries, alongside an epic range of wine, spirits & cocktails. Want to hit up the beach? We'll be offering fresh coffee, bottles & cans to takeaway, as well as freshly canned draught beer straight from our taps.
"You'll also be able to tuck into our epic menu of burgers, hot wings, salads & plant-based junk food."
The international brewery chain, based in Scotland, successfully secured permission from BCP Council to create a pub in an empty restaurant unit in December last year.
A report by a council planning officer said: “It is considered that this particular use would complement the leisure offer within the BH2 complex, but would also support the vitality and viability of the town centre.”
Speaking about the company's plans for the launch and beyond, BrewDog said: "Expect exclusive beer launches and collaborations, regular showcases from our favourite guest brewers and an exciting calendar of beer events & festivals."
