CCTV has been released of two men police would like to identify after a woman and man had their wallets stolen while shopping at two Tesco stores.
A woman’s wallet was stolen from her handbag in the car park of Tesco in Penny’s Walk in Ferndown at around 6.15pm on Friday, February 11.
Police said two men were seen to approach the woman before one took the woman’s wallet from her handbag which was in her shopping trolley and handed it to the other men before they both made off from the scene.
The incident is believed to be linked to another theft of a wallet at around 4.30pm the same day where a man aged in his 80s had his wallet stolen as he left Tesco in Wimborne Road, Kinson.
Sergeant Bill Nightingall, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into these thefts and have obtained CCTV images of two men we are looking to identify.
“I would urge anyone who recognises either of these men to please get in touch.”
