THE Sandbanks Ferry service has been suspended for the rest of the day due to Storm Eunice.
The ferry operator said that due to the bad weather continuing and very high tide this evening, the ferry would remain out of action for the rest of the day.
A spokesperson said: "Due to the bad weather still continuing, and very high tide due this evening we have taken the decision that the Sandbanks Ferry will remain closed for the rest of today.
"We'll recommence service at 7am tomorrow (Saturday 19/02) morning."
Morebus has suspended its 50 service between Bournemouth and Swanage which uses crosses via the Sandbanks Ferry.
