A ROAD in Poole has been closed with drivers urged to use alternative routes as Storm Eunice causes disruption.
Shore Road in Sandbanks is shut at the bottom of Evening Hill due to flooding.
A BCP Council spokesperson said: “Shore Road, at the bottom of Evening Hill in Poole, is closed due to flooding.
“Please use an alternative route and plan your journey in advance. We are working throughout the day to reopen roads and maintain safe routes for travel across the area.”
As a result, Morebus is not running its 60 service between Shore Road and Sandbanks Ferry in both directions.
The Sandbanks Ferry service has been suspended due to Storm Eunice.
Elsewhere, police said they are receiving reports of trees and power cables down across the county, as well as flying debris.
Posting on Twitter, Dorset Police said: “Key roads affected include Matchams Lane, Wessex Way, A35 at Bridport, A352 near Whitcombe and the A37. Please only travel if absolutely necessary.”
