A MAN has been handed a court bill of more than £1,000 for four separate speeding offences.
Taylor Tulip-Close, 36 and of Pottle Walk, Wimborne, was sentenced at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court in relation to incidents which took place in Bristol and London.
The court heard that on June 2 last year the defendant drove a Land Rover Discovery on A111 The Bourne in Palmers Green at 36mph in a 30mph zone.
Tulip-Close was clocked driving the same vehicle exceeding the 20mph limit on Upper Thames Street by Stew Lane, central London, on July 8, 2021.
In Bristol, he was again caught speeding in the Land Rover. On January 18 and January 27, he drove faster than the 40mph limit on the M32 Severn Beach Rail Line Overbridge. The speeds recorded were 51mph and 54mph.
The bench issued a six-month driving ban, as well as financial penalties through fines, costs and surcharges of £1,073.
