The '90s saw a wave of club nights held in Bournemouth and the Daily Echo has found this great set of photos from 1997 in our archives from one of the many events held at the BIC.
Part 1 shows 40 images of clubbers enjoying the event with part 2 will be available next week.
The 8th of November saw Mixmag, Slinky, and Radio One present 'The Essential Club Country live mix' from the Bournemouth International Centre, broadcasting live to the nation and filmed for MTV Europe.
The event featured sets from Pete Tong, Carl Cox, John Digweed, and Gary White in the Purbeck hall with Judge Jules, Tony de Vit, Seb Fontaine, Tal Paul Newman, Tim Lyall, Kinky Rich in the Tregonwell Hall.
The Purbeck Lounge was taken over by the Groove Connection presenting Grooverider, Fabio, Mickey Finn, addiction, Orbit, and Dreem.
