A NUMBER of special bunting making sessions are being held ahead of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Wimborne War on Waste (WOW) has organised three drop-in sessions for people to sew bunting ahead of the jubilee celebrations later this year.
The sessions run from 10am to 12noon on Monday, March 14, Monday, March 21 and Monday, March 28 in Wimborne Minster Town Hall committee room.
There is also a Dorset button making session on Monday, March 14.
People are asked to bring sewing machines if they have them, refreshments will be provided.
WOW aims to reuse, upcycle and repurpose as much as possible and is calling for people to drop off any spare red, white or blue fabric to the Fair Ground shop in the Cornmarket.
