IT’S pancake day on Tuesday – will you be celebrating?
Whether you like them traditional or a big American stack, there are lots of ways to enjoy them with all manner of toppings from the humble sugar and lemon to Nutella or maple syrup.

Mama’s Pancakes
It’s pancake day all year round at Mama’s Pancakes in Christchurch Road, Bournemouth.
Visitors can enjoy a savoury crepe with meat, fish or vegetables prepared from scratch while you wait priced at £4.50.
There are also sweet crepes available with fillings including fresh fruits, berries and cream for £3.50.
Plus, for those who don’t want to dine out, you can order for delivery from Deliveroo, Just Eat or Uber Eats.
Cafe Boscanova
Popular Boscombe eatery Cafe Boscanova will be offering three special pancakes to mark Pancake Day.
Diners can enjoy the likes of millionaire shortbread pancakes and vegan baked apple crumble pancakes served with vegan ice cream and topped with an oat crumble.
For those who like to get their pancake fix the rest of the year, the regular menu features American pancakes (with vegan, gluten free and children's options available) served with maple butter and 'sugar dust'.
Urban Reef
How about pancakes with a view? Seafront restaurant Urban Reef located next to Boscombe prom has three different types of pancakes on its menu alongside its other breakfast offerings.
Diners can enjoy American style pancakes with either maple syrup and berry compote, banana and caramel and maple syrup and smoked back bacon priced at £7.50.
Breakfast is served daily between 9am and 11am.
Velo Domestique
Southbourne cafe Velo Domestique in Seabourne Road serves two pancake options as part of its breakfast menu which is available Wednesdays to Mondays.
Pancake fans can enjoy bacon and maple syrup or sweet berry compote and honey yoghurt for £7.50.
One happy diner posted on TripAdvisor: "I love Velo! The pancakes and coffee are delicious and I visit as often as I can! staff are always super friendly and it is a fab location."
Mad Cucumber
Vegan lounge Mad Cucumber located in the Triangle sells two pancakes with a dusting of icing sugar and a plethora of additional sauces and toppings to make your pancakes just how you like them.
Additional toppings are Biscoff, chocolate, berry, ice cream, banana, sausage and maple syrup.
The pancakes are available dairy free, vegan and nut free.
