RAIL passengers are facing disruption between Bournemouth and Branksome this morning.

Due to a points failure between the two stations, trains are having to run at a reduced speed on all lines.

As a result, trains running through these stations may be delayed.

South Western Railway said disruption is expected until 10.30am.

A spokesperson said: “We have been informed that there is a problem with a set of points between Branksome and Bournemouth.

“This means that trains may run at a reduced speed between these stations and to and from the depot.”

They added: “We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey.”
