Dorset residents have shown their caring and generous spirits by donating in droves to help people in Ukraine.
Just a few days ago, a group was set-up by a handful of people asking for donations for families and people fleeing the Russian invasion.
Since then, the incredible gesture has spiralled, with Help from Bournemouth to Ukraine group, temporarily having to halt donations as they moved their operation to the empty Argos store at Castlepoint following a generous offer from management there.

People with donations can drop them off in the main Argos store at Castlepoint - through the blue doors - on the top level of Castlepoint between 9am and 6pm daily.
Karol Swiacki, organiser of Help from Bournemouth to Ukraine, said: “They will give us almost everything, boxes, trolleys - it’s just fantastic.
“They will also support our action with their 20,000 customers - that’s out of this world.”
Thousands of donations have been pouring in from Dorset residents to help people affected by the war in Ukraine.
