THE people of Weymouth who have rented beach huts for many years are now feeling aggrieved that they have had their tenancies terminated.
One family having held their tenancy for fifty years I have long since been of the opinion that the tenancies of beach huts should have a time limit to allow other people to have the opportunity to enjoy a beach hut as much as they have done, some people I know have had their names down on the list for several years before having the chance to enjoy a beach hut.
Perhaps BCP will follow suit and rearrange the tenure of the beach huts to allow more people to enjoy this facility and to terminate those who have held their beach hut tenures for many years.
