A DRIVER was issued a ticket by police for parking illegally outside a school.

Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team visited Canford Heath School following complaints inappropriate parking.

A spokesperson said: “We located this vehicle unattended on the zig zags outside the school, when the driver returned they were issued a ticket for the offence.

“Everyone has a responsibility to park properly, the zig zags are there for safety and protect the children leaving school.

“We will continue to visit schools where possible and deal with these offences.”
