A TENDER is set to be launched by Christchurch Town Council to replace windows at a community hall.
The work is required at Druitt Hall in the town centre after an independent inspection found the original windows were in a state of 'poor repair' or in some cases 'disrepair'.
The town council has engaged with chartered surveyors Elcock Associates to put together a tender package to take to market.
Members of the council's resources committee are set to discuss putting the work out for tender at a meeting on March 8.
A report to the committee says that the documents produced by Elcock Associates would be used by officers to obtain best value for the works.
It is anticipated that there will be a three week timescale for interested business to bid for the contact once it is published.
Councillors are being asked delegate authority to officers to commence the tender process.
Once tender bids are returned, officers will recommend a preferred contractor to the committee.
