DEVELOPERS have submitted a new plan to build a larger block of flats in Poole on a former pub site.
Poole-based AJ Developments already has full planning permission for a 74-home scheme in Commercial Road.
As reported, demolition of The Sloop pub was completed last month ahead of delivering new housing.
However, AJ Developments has gone back to BCP Council planners in an attempt go gain approval for a block of 86 flats.

A design and access statement submitted on behalf of the applicant by Pure Town Planning said the new proposal would bring the block in line with the heigh of the approval at Park Place, which faces the site across North Road.
The 12 additional apartments are considered "in keeping with the evolving nature of the locality including the adjacent sites at The Cosmopolitan (80 units) and Park Place (126 units)", the statement said.
It added: "The proposed layout of the site would remain almost identical to the approved scheme.
"The building footprint would remain the same as well as the points of vehicle and pedestrian access.
"At ground floor the layout has been altered slightly resulting in a loss of two parking spaces but a substantial increase in bike storage."

Pure Town Planning said the main change is the addition of a further storey, which would be "set in, meaning the building would remain four storeys at either end.
AJ Developments only secured outline planning permission for its 74-flat scheme after successfully appealing a refusal by BCP Council's planning committee to the Planning Inspectorate.
A subsequent reserved matters application was approved by local authority officers under delegated powers in December.
The Sloop pub ceased trading on Sunday, December 19, and demolition work was carried out in the past few weeks.
If approved, AJ Developments' new plan would provide one three-bed, 12 two-bed and 73 one-bed flats.
There would be 46 car parking spaces and 120 cycle spaces provided on the site.
