A HEAVY police presence and a large cordon is in place in Bournemouth town centre.
Horseshoe Common has been taped off while a section of pavement outside Subway in Old Christchurch Road is also shut off.
Multiple marked police cars and uniform officers are at the scene.

Residents have reported there was an ambulance presence in the early hours of the morning.
All footpaths to access Horseshoe Common are blocked. Vehicles are still able to travel along Old Christchurch Road and Dean Park Crescent.
