A DRIVER and passenger were dragged from the vehicle and attacked with a baseball bat before having their belongings stolen in Boscombe.
Between 8.30pm and 9.10pm on Thursday, March 10, the victim, a local man in his 40s, was driving along Sea Road when he saw a man he recognised called ‘Andy’ walking near to Sea Road Food and Wine.
He turned his van around and pulled up to allow him to get into the front passenger seat so they could talk.
It is reported that a short time later the driver’s door was opened and he was struck on the head with a baseball bat.
