BOURNEMOUTH MP Conor Burns said a young life had been "snuffed out" and a family had been "changed forever" after a 21-year-old man died following a stabbing in the town centre.
The victim died in hospital on the morning of Saturday, March 13, following an incident outside Subway in Old Christchurch Road.
Mr Burns, who represents Bournemouth West, said his thoughts are with the victim and his family.
The Conservative MP said the events in the town centre will have "shocked and unsettled" residents.
Shocked to hear news of the fatal stabbing of a 21 year old man in the town centre of Bournemouth. Devastating for his family and a young life cruelty cut short. My thoughts are with the victim and family. Wider questions and thoughts are needed but are not for today.

Mr Burns told the Daily Echo: "My first thoughts are with the young victim and his family.
"This is a young life snuffed out and a family changed forever.
"Sadly it will also worry those who feel Bournemouth’s centre is changing in an unwelcome way.
"I hope this will prompt an ever greater focus on what can be done to make Bournemouth feel safer, look better and be a place both locals and visitors choose to spend their time because it has a genuinely interesting offer."
