POOLE homeless charity Routes to Roots will be opening their new Genesis Centre in Poole in March.

The Genesis Centre will be opened on March 21 by Routes to Roots after two years of extensive restoration and refurbishment of the disused Baptist Church.

A spokesperson from Routes to Roots said: “Acquiring and subsequently renovating the former Hill Street Baptist Church has been a huge undertaking solely funded by donations.

“On March 21st 2022 the doors will officially open to the new home of Routes to Roots, the Genesis Centre.

“This is particularly special as this also marks the 20th anniversary of the charity.”
