A CHARITY 'superstore' opens in Bournemouth today in what will be the biggest Barnardo's shop in the south.
The 10,000 square foot store at Mallard Road Retail Park opens to the public on Friday, March 25.
It will be the third charity superstore Barnardo’s has opened in the UK with the other two in Coventry and Bradford.
David Longmore, Barnardo’s head of store proposition and development, said: “We are very excited about the Bournemouth superstore as it will allow us to offer ranges we can’t provide in our traditional high street stores.
“Furniture, white goods and homeware will be available and we will have extended ranges in our core departments of ladies’ and menswear, children’s clothes and toys, books, games and entertainment.”
There will be free parking and a drop-off station to send in any donations.
Barnardo’s will be employing 18 people and is also extremely keen to attract volunteers around the area to help a few hours a week.
Those interested are invited to visit the store once it has opened or call 01202 517047.
