Dorset has a variety of fun-filled Easter days for the whole family to enjoy, from egg hunts and activity trails to bunny-spotting and family days out.
Here are some of the Easter egg trails in Dorset that will keep the little minds busy.

1. An Easter Eggstravaganza will be taking place over the bank holiday weekend at Farmer Palmer's Farm Park where the resident bunny will be hiding hundreds of chocolate eggs out in their field, from Good Friday to Easter Monday.
2. Between April 9 and 24, an Easter hunt will be happening at Northe Fort for all the family to get involved in. Whilst searching for the eggs, watch out to spot any easter bunnies and locate the unique, hidden golden egg. There will also be fascinating Easter facts and a quiz for the older members who are taking part in the day.
3. Easter fun comes to Swanage Pier between April 9 and 24 every day. Pick up your activity sheet at the Pier gatehouse and keep your eyes peeled for those colourful eggs. They will be placed along the pier and each colour of the egg spotted needs to be written on the sheet. Once every egg has been found, mini egg explorers can hand in their sheets at the Pier shop and receive a treat and an entry into the prize draw to win the Easter bunny. Each trail cost £1, normal adult pier entry applies.
4. Make sure you get to Hamworthy Park on Sunday April 17 at 10.30am for the return of the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Search round the park for clues and then return back for more games once all of them have been found.
5. This spring, there will be Easter adventures at Kingston Lacy through their beautiful nature trails. The trail will happen between April 9 and 24 from 9.30am to 4pm. Last entry time will be at 3.30pm and booking is not needed. The trail is £3 per child and includes a trail map, pencil and a chocolate egg at the end.
6. In Dorchester, The Walled Garden will be bringing a compact easter themed April. With the garden decorated, the little explorers can spot the eggs and easter characters and complete the Easter Trail Quiz to win a prize. Maps are £3 and can be found in the café. Visit the animals, learn amazing facts and solve the riddle.
7. From April 15 to 18, Brewery Square in Dorchester will be holding an eggs hunt. Fill in the form, once completed the little ones will be given an Easter prize! It will be running over the weekend from 10am-4pm but there will also be garden games and storytelling alongside the Mad Hatters Tea Party event!
8. Moors Valley Country Park will be holding an amazing Easter event for nearly the whole of April. From April 2 to 25, an egg hunt will be happening as Rosie the rabbit has hidden 11 giant easter egg shapes around Moors Valley. Each egg has a letter written on it to help solve clues and work out the mysterious easter phrase.
9. Brownsea Island will be bringing an easter adventure with their family-friendly trail that has fun activities to complete along the way. Once the trail is complete, a chocolate treat will be given. It costs £3 per pack that includes an activity pack, a pencil and a National Trust chocolate reward claim.
10. Mr Rabbit will be hoping around Adventure Wonderland Theme Park in Bournemouth as he is hosting some special egg-citing Easter games between April 15 to 18. The new season see the launch of the new bouncy castle ‘The Buccaneers Bouncer’ and theatre show ‘Wonderland High.’ With a huge range of rides and attractions, this would be a family day out no one would forget at adult and child tickets costing £19.50. Under 2years go free.
11. At Corfe Castle, booking your Easter visit is vital for such a busy time. The Easter trials do not need a booking and tickets are released every Friday, so grab yours quick! Where wildlife sets up home in a castle, explore the grounds as you go through the family activity trail and receive a chocolate egg at the end. £3 per entry and will happen between the 2nd-18th April from 10am until 4pm.
12. Little explorers can head to Knoll Beach for the 'Adventures in Nature' trail and earn themselves a chocolate egg by exploring the woodland, sand dunes and beach. Costs £3 per trail. Runs April 9 to 24, 10.30am to 3.30pm.
13. The Tank Museum at Bovington will be hosting an Easter egg trail between April 4 and 22. Young visitors who take part in the trail will have the chance to win a chocolatey prize.
