FUNDRAISERS have been set up to help pay for the funeral costs of popular Bournemouth DJ Tom Roberts.
The 21-year-old suffered fatal injuries outside Subway in Old Christchurch Road on the morning of Saturday, March 12.
Tom, who performed drum and bass DJ sets under the name ‘Nomad’, has been described as “one of the best up and coming artists the south had to offer”.
Now a nightclub event that is being held at Bomo Bunker in Holdenhurst Road will be donating all of the proceeds from the night to help with funeral costs.
Skanked Out, a drum and bass event, will be taking place at Bomo from 10pm on Friday, April 1.

Manager of the Holdenhurst Road nightclub Shelley previously told the Daily Echo: “Tom was an amazing young talented lad with a bright future. I’m so saddened by what’s happened.
“Tom loved Bomo. I gave him his first opportunity there and he would come to practise when we were closed."
A GoFundMe has also been set up by one of Tom’s childhood friends with the blessing of his family, raising more than £3,500 to date to help with funeral costs.
