HUNDREDS of bikers took part in a charity bike ride raising more than £1,500 to help a boy with a rare brain tumour.
The large convoy of motorcyclists met in Dorchester last Sunday morning before riding a loop around the county all in a bid to raise money for Stanley, the six-year-old grandson of event organiser John Bramble.

Stanley was diagnosed with a brain tumour in December.
Mr Bramble, of Chickerell, said he was overwhelmed by the support shown throughout the ride - with around 250-300 bikers in total.
“It was fantastic weather and a really good turnout from all the bikers, as well as the people who were all waving us along,” said Mr Bramble.
“Quite a few more people came out than we were expecting, so it's all great stuff.
“So far we have raised £1,634.80 which has been a fantastic effort, almost double the bikers turned up and we cannot thank everyone enough – the generosity has been amazing.”
The bikers were raising money to create memories for Stanley, who recently underwent an operation to remove 95% of the tumour, as well as helping to pay for bills while he is in hospital.
Mr Bramble said the current situation with his grandson is ‘a lot more positive now’ with the family thinking he maybe had five or six years left not long ago.
For the ride all the bikers were dressed in Stanley’s favourite colour lime-green and all videoed called him together.
Mr Bramble continued: “The phone call with Stanley was really good, we rang him after the speech and it had a great response from the bikers all saying hello and goodbye.
“Stanley was a bit shy but he enjoyed it and it brought a smile to his face.
“A big thanks goes to Emma and Dean at the Hunters Moon pub near Sherborne for letting us all stop for an hour and the Top O’Town Car Park Cafe in Dorchester who did a great job catering for us all and stayed on at work in the afternoon.”
The charity bike ride is part of a larger fundraising drive to raise £15,000 for Stanley - people can donate via https://www.gofundme.com/f/lets-help-little-stanley-on-his-cancer-journey
