POLICE gave out more than 50 tickets to drivers on Good Friday.
Dorset Police’s No Excuse team issued 51 tickets on Good Friday, 30 of which were for speeding offences.
Another driver was issued a fixed penalty after Police noticed them undertaking a vehicle, and on pulling them over, realised neither brake light was working.
The day also saw 15 people provide negative breath tests.
The Dorset Police No Excuse team have since issued an important ‘fatal 5’ reminder on their Facebook page, listing the five things they are looking out for: seat belts, speeding, drink and drug driving, mobile phones and careless driving.
